HiTeam is committed to protecting your personal data. We always inform you what personal data we collect, how your data is used, and how you can influence the process.

This data privacy policy provides an overview of the items which apply to HiTeam processing your data in this website.

3. What rights do I have?

You have the right:

a) To request information on the categories of personal data concerned, the purpose of the processing, any recipients of the data, the envisaged storage period (Art. 15 GDPR);

b) To request incorrect or incomplete data is rectified or supplemented (Art. 16 GDPR);

c) To withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR);

d) To object to the processing of data on the grounds of legitimate interests, for reasons relating to your particular situation (Art 21 (1) GDPR);

e) To request the erasure of data in certain cases under Art. 17 GDPR – especially if the data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or is unlawfully processed, or you withdraw your consent according to (c) above or objected according to (d) above;

f) To demand under certain circumstances the restriction of data where erasure is not possible or the erasure obligation is disputed (Art. 18 GDPR);

g) To data portability, ie you can receive your data which you provided to us, in a commonly used and machine-readable format, such as CSV and can, where necessary, transmit the data to others (Art. 20 GDPR);

4. Who does HiTeam pass my data on to?

In certain cases, we are legally obliged to pass on your anonymised data if requested to do so by a state body. We do not pass on your data to third parties for any other purpose, unless you have given express permission for us to do so.

5. Where is my data stored?

The data that we collect from you is stored in a cloud based proprietary CRM system and on secure personal computers. It may be transferred to other members of the HiTeam team by email.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

6. What data is recorded, how is it used and how long is it stored?

We collect and store personal and company data collected from business cards, lead sheets and other communications with you.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

• To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.

• To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.

• To notify you about changes to our service.

Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, we will only hold your data for the length of time necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, for a period of five years after final contact with you or until you request that the data be deleted. Even if we delete your data, it may persist on backup or archival media for legal, tax or regulatory purposes.

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail. However, we advise that you check this page regularly to keep up to date with any necessary changes. This policy was last amended on 13 July 2018.
